Happy birthday to my lady, Lezley.

Lez had her 72nd birthday today. Lee took her out for Japanese dinner and were joined by Alec, Mimi and Kiki.

We spent the evening with our kids and partners. It was a great time and an anticipated harbinger of things to come, the return of our weekly family dinners.

We will soon have our large table back. If only that table could talk, having witnessed almost 40 years of weekly family dinners.

Well, this was one of many special birthdays, and one that was extra special with our boys and their partners coming over to our place afterwards. Thank you all for the greetings and phone calls from so many friends so dear, and near and far away. I am looking forward to many more of the family dinners, gatherings of friends and the adventures we get into.

Yes, the dining table will be surrounded with friends again.
