Triple G Hideaway RV Park, Fort Nelson BC (2 stars)
Lee spotted a walking trail about two clicks from the RV park, so today we drove up there and brought lunch to eat by a small lake on the trail. That part was unremarkable except for the muskrat in the lake. However, we chose a different path back to the truck and that's when the interesting things began. The path was littered with mushrooms. All shapes, sizes, and colours. The cameras were smoking.
We had a very comfortable hike (easy path, no steep hills) and found a place by the lake to enjoy our lunch. The muskrat paid no attention to us, other than staying across the pond from us. The walk back ended up being a frenzy of photos - and now I (or we, LOL) need to try to identify them all.
