Map - To the Yukon Wildlife Preserve and back Miles Canyon The Yukon Wildlife Preserve

Pioneer RV Park, Whitehorse YT (1 star)

Lee thinks we are moving pretty slow. This morning, we were first fascinated by the refilling of the propane tanks next to our rig.

We travelled to two places today. First Miles Canyon and then the Yukon Wildlife Preserve. More details can be found on the two tabs above.

After we returned home, we had a massive rain deluge in the RV park for the third time in three days. Some sites to our north were completely covered in a lake for quite a while.

The cameras were smokin'. The Preserve is very well done, the animals are about to roam in large areas. Their coats are are healthy - a sign of well looked after animals.

It is a must-to-see if you are ever in the area, or looking for some great opportunities to photograph th animals in a natural habitat. I swear the Caribou was posing for us.
