Lee laughs. We only recently watched 'The Hunt for Red October'. And now we are out of red wine. The comment seemed appropriate.

There is a word that Lee used in the day when designing software. That word is 'scalable' and refers to the ability (or not) of the software to run efficiently no matter how much data has to be processed. Well, Lee's software that builds our web site has a scalability issue. Today, Lee made some changes to speed up the software. Let's just call that 'adding some piano wire and chewing gum'. A significant re-design is necessary to make it more efficient, but that won't happen until this coming winter.

We are low on our Okanagan red wines! Fortunately the various liquor stores carry a few of the labels. The problem is that all those liquor stores are about 30 minutes away.

Well, the predicted rains have come. A beaded curtain of raindrops now cover our windows.
