After the museum, we drove all the way to the end of Highway 113, to the fishing village of Gingolx, also spelled Kincolith. This village did not have road access until 2013.
At this point we have reached tide water. This is part of the Portland Inlet, which includes the town of Stewart another few hundred kilometers further inland, but still on tidewater. Our Pacific Ocean shoreline is truly amazing; full of lengthy channels and inlets.
