Braun's Island RV Park, Terrace BC (2 stars)

Lee convinces Lez to keep going past Kitwanga (it's only 10:00 am as we drive by) and head into Terrace. We'll settle in there for a few days, enjoy the surroundings and then move on to the coast. So, we look for RV parks online, find one that can handle the Schooner and book it.

Attention to detail does not come easy to some folks, I guess. We get to the RV park only to find that the site we booked (advertised as accommodating an RV up to 45 feet) is about large enough to handle a motorcycle, maybe pulling one of those small trailers. Back online to change to another site, but there is no place to change a site on the day you arrive.

Oh, to hell with that. We take the large site next to the mini site we booked and settle in. NIce grass, level site, power and water, reasonable price. They'll figure it out.

Yes, it can be frustrating as the park staff are just starting their summer jobs. Many are students who are working for the summer, and many are new at their position and may not have even camped before and don't understand what the RV's and campers need. I'm thinking training may not be adequate.
