Live music in the grocery store.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
Lee says, yup, he went for groceries and a concert broke out. Sort of. Save-On Foods here in Parksville had brought in a couple of singer/guitarists to 'entertain' the shoppers. Do we really need this Worse yet, as Lee was checking out, they broke into Whiskey in the Jar, a light version. That reminded Lee of the Phil Lynott/Gary Moore version done by their band, Thin Lizzy. So much better, with so much more body. Ah, rock and roll.
Later on we listen to the Generals game being played in Saanich. Sure enough, they methodically play their game and win 4-1. That's two wins and two away from the league championship.
Most of the strip sets for the guild's quilt are done, and hanging in the back window, pinned to the curtains so I can see them in the correct order to sew together. With the back end of the RV facing the estuary, I don't need to worry about neighbours wondering what kind of curtains I am making LOL.
After enjoying a cheese fondue, we settled into a movie.
