One quarter of the way to Revelstoke.

Lee thinks our blog phrase for today should confuse a few people. No, we are not on our way to Revelstoke. However, the Oceanside Generals won their first game in the VIJHL final best of seven series tonight 6-2 and have won one of the four games needed to advance to the Cyclone Taylor Cup tournament which is being held in Revelstoke next month.

We enjoyed another sunny day, sitting at the back of the Schooner watching the estuary wildlife - geese, ducks, deer, seagulls and a pair of eagles over Shelly Park across the estuary from us. Hobbes joined us too, falling asleep beside us on the sun warmed stones.

We ended our day enjoying a 6-2 win for the Oceanside Generals over the Saanich Predators in the first game of the first round of the playoffs. Back home to the Schooner and some TV movies.
