Someone threw a broom on the ice.

We had a great time later in the day, taking a bus to Port Alberni with a group of Generals fans. And relaxing, too. No need to concentrate on the driving.

Well, yes, someone threw a broom on the ice after the game presumably because the Generals won and swept the series 4-0. However, what stuck with Lee afte the game was seeing the reaction of some Bombers players, the ones who had just played their last game. There were some tears shed.

Then another relaxing trip home on the bus. And, some pizza provided by the Generals team as well. A great day.

Monday starts as they do, and the routine is for Lee to weigh the propane tanks and if need be, replace them with full ones. We needed to replace. The furnace (propane run) has been working a lot this past couple of weeks as our nightime lows ranged from -5C to +2C. Given the space we have, cooking with the gas stove and oven also warm up the RV and the furnace takes a break.

We ended the day in a very non routine fashion - catching the fan bus to Port Alberni to watch the Oceanside Generals play and win their 4th straight game winning 5-1 in the Alberni Valley Multiplex and winning the first round of playoffs! A more relaxing trip for Lee as he didn't have to drive. We also were served pizza on the way back.
