On the wings of a goose.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
Lez convinced Lee to set out the lawn chairs in the sun behind the Schooner. There we sat right across from the Canada Geese and various types of ducks. You could tell it is spring because the birds are pairing off. And what is most entertaining is watching (and hearing) the male geese fighting for female control. They are too funny.
Today was a laid back day. Our second cup of coffee after breakfast was enjoyed outside at the back of the Schooner, where we sat in our lawn chairs in a very warm sun and just watched the world go by. For about 2 hours or more. 53 photos later, I managed to cull it down to 32 for our website after we took a walk to the Sea Wall. The estuary was a busy place today with many birds, ducks, geese and deer. Hummingbird was flitting about, and Hobbes was not thrilled with the cool weather and preferred the warmth of his basket.
I researched details of the wildllife for the blog. So when we got back to the RV, I downloaded photos and prepped them for our blog.
