Hobbes helps with the Wordle.

Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

As we are getting breakfast ready, Hobbes hangs around because he gets a small bowl of milk at that time. Being a little impatient, he walks over Lee's laptop keyboard on which he has started today's Wordle. It's a good thing he didn't touch the Enter key, if you know what I mean.

Later on we have a visit from Pat and Marg from Duncan. A great brunch and many stories about our times in Edmonton and now on Vancouver Island.

A busy day last minute straightening up the RV for visitors, and finding the Quiche recipe and making another deep dish, no crust delicious quiche, baking it in the RV oven that so many RV'ers say they never use. Works just fine for us.

It was great to catch up with Pat and Marg and as long as we are out here on the island, I think we will do a better job of connecting.

Marg and I and quilters Ev, Fran and Janet frequently spent our Tuesdays in Edmonton, quilting at Marg's. Then Pat and Marg retired to Duncan, and our sewing days changed up a little and eventually phased out. Good memories and great friends.
