Finally, it's game day.

Lee has been hoping for this day to arrive for a few now. That's because Lez has been moping around with "hockey withdrawal". She should be better about 7:00 pm tonight. The prescription I have prescribed is an Oceanside Generals game ticket.

Apparently the "prescription" worked. Lez is happy and the Generals won.

Goooooaaaalllllll! Ah - feels good to cheer the boys on, to chat with one of the player's parents and grandparents. One learns a lot of behind the scenes of raising a teenage hockey player. It brings back good memories of going to the Regina Pats hockey games and the Edmonton Oil Kings games. Yes, there is football, curling and baseball but I love watching hockey. Live hockey is best though - TV is ok, but yelling at the ref on TV just isn't the same. VERY big grin.
