The craft room is empty again, and will be reconfigured however the next group (A mother/daughter weekend group) will require for their activities.
Nancy and I loaded up Chuck with the help of the volunteers, and we headed off to catch the ferry to get us to Campbell River. We arrived to the ferry line up in plenty of time for the 10 o'clock ferry. As we approached, we could barely make out the other shore because a fog had not lifted. Well, 11 o'clock slips on by as we still cannot cross due to the fog. We were eventually told we will be leaving at 12 noon. We cannot see anything but the fog at our end of the dock.
We have been told the ferry is loading on the opposite shore, so we will be leaving at 12. Sure enough, fog lifted and we sailed off to Vancouver Island.
Nancy and I decided to drop 2 of the 4 quilt shops we were going to stop in on the way back to Parksville. The rest of the travel was uneventful, with good gently winding roads and lots of sunshine and lots of trees! As I left Nancy's place, a deer greeted me along the quiet road.
