There were goats on the roof.

Our first venture to Coombs today. A marine supply shop, the Dutch store and the Goats of the Roof store. There were three goats on the roof today, standing precariously close to the edge of the roof as they begged from the people standing below them.

Today was our first settled in and get some chores done day. We headed out for a marine specialty store visit for big-ass marine buckles to replace the rusted grommets on our slide covers and the sides of the Schooner. We then did a test on one of the covers and from my spot at the kitchen table tonight, it's lookin' pretty spiffy up there. We made the covers two summers ago and they are great for keeping leaves, rain, forest fire ash and snow off the tops of the slides.

Weather continues to be clear and no wind, but unless you are in the sunlight, it is cool. Bright orange and pink wisps of clouds this evening and mountain shadows out the kitchen windows once more.
