Hope Valley Campground, Hope BC (1 star)

We had planned to tour around Harrison Hot Springs and Chilliwack today, but it was still raining. We decided to stay put and enjoy our comfy home instead. Hobbes was even out for a few moments as we chatted with our neighbour. We had a nice supper and settled in to the smell of banana muffins in the oven. Early to bed (for us) as we prepare to break camp early and catch the 11 am ferry from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay.

Lez Chimes: Rain rain go away, come again some other day!

Almost getting webbed feet. However, it has not been cold. It would have been nice to see some sunshine on the stunning colours - the very dark greens and the golds and orange! What a country of rich colour!

We were also close the CP mainline - and heard many trains rumbling by. It will be a sound we will not hear for the next 5 months - no train on Vancouver island!
