Today was a journey across the flat Alberta prairie. We saw the aging, dilapitated elevator at Dorothy on the way. Arriving at Dinosaur Provincial Park is an awesome site as you approach and enter into the badlands on both sides of the Red Deer River. Much more intense than at Drumheller. We had lunch and then hiked the Coulee Viewpoint Trail. It was a bit too intense for Lez but Lee went to the top and took some intense photos of the coulee. We then settled in for some supper and lit the firepit. By now it was pitch dark and the stars and milky way were intense. So many stars! Then it was coffee and barely some internet to end the night.
Lez muses: So, virtually no internet, so unable to update the Facebook page (Roads Less Gravelled), but it certainly "encouraged" the hiking and firepit evening! Some of those trails could use "stairs"! LOLOL
