A much cooler and comfortable drive today. We headed over to Tolman Campground on the Red Deer River. The sides of the valley reminded us of Drumheller. We had some tense times again trying to back the Schooner into a campsite, but we eventually made it. The next challenge was to find $ 21 in cash to pay for the site. But, with coins of all denominations we made it work. After supper, we made a campfire and roasted marshmallows. As the fire died down, we noticed major sheet lightning south in the distance.
Lez chuckles: Gov't of AB is going to think we robbed the kids piggy banks! To quote Lee's favourite line "Who carries cash anymore!".
