Surfside stay comes to an end.

Lee says we are ready to leave. Not much to do in the morning except hook up, stow inside things and drive off.

It's been a great six months. But, Lee is ready to explore new ground. Northern Vancouver Island here we come.

Lee notes gas is 198.9 this morning. Good thing we gassed up last night!

Lez is out for coffee with friend Chris L. We ususally meet for coffee on Wednesdays out here in Parksville but had other commitments this week. It will be another six months before we connect again. She is a great quilter and member of the Parksville quilt guild. Our conversations make two hours fly by!

It has turned into quite a blustery day, very windy - Schooner is rocking! I was hoping we could spend the evening around Atkinson's fire pit, but the weather is not looking like it will happen. Thinking more about the packing up in the morning, making that mental list. Where did those six months go!
