Postal wars.

Lee notes that if you bring a package to Canada Post, they will check if the postal code brings up the street address. If it doesn't you are hooped. That happened today to Lee. After leaving the post office, he looked the business up on his cell phone and determined the two digits were reversed. You'd think they would look up the address and tell me I had the wrong postal code. But no. Go away and figure it out yourself.
Lez sighs: I took a travel back in time today. It started with a query from Aaron today, wondering if there were any recording studios in Regina in the 60's and 70'. Google didn't come up with anything on the obvious search of topic and year. I sent a note off to Daryl Gutheil to see if he knew. LOL. I continued some searches - which you know is really a gopher hole - tunnels branching off in a dozen directions. Something caught my attention with a Regina band called the Andantes and a recording studio Calart. As I started to read, there was reference to the old home town in the years I was in high school, the YMCA sock hops, and names of many people and bands I have come to know. It drew me to more about the Adantes and as I read, I had to laugh. I had asked one of the brothers who started that band. Yup. Nothing else got done this afternoon but soooo many memories of a time when music changed and how one of Streetheart's band members was quite involved in that music scene of the '60's in Regina. I'm sure Daryl smiled when he read my question and thought - she has no clue how much involvement there was!
