Scanning and waiting for Lez.

Today's phrase makes it sound like Lee was standing outside, scanning the horizon for Lee and mom. Not quite, and not that he doesn't want Lez back, but he actually spent most of the day scanning slides. It is tedious and slow work, but worthwhile.

Lez grins as she photographs the room's view. We went to bed very early - which is rare for me and I figured I would lay awake for hours. Nope - out like a light. With solid sleeps and the hotel breaky to get out day going, we cabbed over to the hospital and spent the day with Ralph. The meds are keeping some of the discomfort at bay. If I could only wave a magic wand to make that pain go away. We caught a ferry back to the island and arrived home safe and sound.
