Dithering with slugs.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
Lee sees a day on which we can finally get out and do some hiking. Off to Shelly Park we go. Needless to say the cameras were smoking. At one point (see the photo in today's list) Lez spent several minutes photographing a slug. Yuk!
Lez had been getting a signal that her Signal app on her phone needed updating, a sure signal that she needed to signal Alec upon which he could signal to her the Signal commands needed so Signal would stop signalling for updates. All is well that signals well, or is that, ends well.
Lez signals: Enough already!
I opened my email this morning and found a notification from the Electric Quilt software challenge I participated in. We had been given a set of Northcott fabric photo swatches and were challenged to use the EQ product to design a quilt. I decided to enter a quilt pattern, a design I made up specifically for the ocean themed fabric. I am one of the two quilters who won the challenge! I've won some of the fabric in the challenge! A big "thank you" shout out to EQ - Electric Quilt and to Northcott Fabrics! Northcott is instrumental in Quilts of Valour - Canada, having been a sponsor since I met with their VP and two representatives 2010. It has been a most interesting "ride" with QOVC and Northcott, and just like the our Roads Less Gravelled - the journey is not over yet.
With a light hearted step, it was off to Shelly Park to enjoy the weather, and take in the Englishman River as it flows out to the ocean. The fresh forest sights, smells and sounds felt so good. We had great view through the forest edge as we looked across to where our RV is docked for the winter.
