Lee notes that in the good old days, we would send a birthday card in the mail to a friend or relative. Now, in the good new days, we push a key on our cell phone and we're seeing and talking to the celebrating person. We did just that today in a call to Edmonton to see birthday boy Alec and Mimi, Chris and Aaron. Then we had a nice 'visit' with Karin, Marlin and Luna using the same good new technology.
Lez groans: I woke up with a sore back shoulder that was very uncomfortable. One doesn't realize how much movement a body makes that uses the back muscles. No idea where or when I pulled it! Ibuprofen to the rescue.
Ok, those hockey photos will be culled down to probably 20 or 30 for our blog. It was a very one-sided game against the Nanaimo Buccaneers which we won 8-1. Sharing a few pictures and for those who are not hockey aware, I labelled the pictures, explaining what the photo was catching.
Chef Lee has made us a scrumptuous meal - sauce from scratch on breaded pan fried chicken breasts. We are feasting - not so much in quantity but certainly in variation and great tastes! Our evening walk - still in the dark and not very late - was star-filled sky and fresh and crisp air.
