What's that smell.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
Lee says - no, that is not a quote from a Lynyrd Skynyrd song. It's the smell coming from the fireplace. Lee says - no, it's not the smell of burning cedar or birch. It's the smell of burning plastic. He opens it up and sure enough the wire providing the live 110v power is melted on the first connection block into the fireplace unit. Easy to fix, but why did it happen in the first place. Not wanting to take chances, we decide to replace the 11 year old fireplace with a new one. Time to go shopping soon.
Lez notes: What's that smell. It's coming from the fireplace. This is NOT a real fireplace mind you, it is an electric fake log and flame one. Lee investigates and we now have a 'date' together in Nanaimo. LOL after almost 50 years, our 'dates' come in many configurations - VERY BIG GRIN.
We took photos of the Seawall walkway - there was barricade mesh around, but it was looking pretty good. An evening (dark already) stroll allowed for a clear walk from the spit back to our Clubhouse D. (we recently learned our laundry room has a designation LOL).
I managed to catch up to the minute with all the tweaks needed on photos. Quilting will have to wait for another day. Our day ended with throw back - 2002 - Robert Urich movie. Now, updating the blog so The Man can publish and bring you all up to snuff.
