Double Entendre, rocking in the new year.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
Ok, so today might be a good double entendre, says Lee. First, after midnight, Lee and Lez enjoyed a lot of rock and roll courtesy of YouTube. Then, this morning, a storm-level wind started up from the south east. As the day progressed, it got stronger and stronger. The Schooner was really rocking in that wind, which gusted as high as 90kph along some places on the Salish Sea coast.
We had a nice time with mom and Ralph later in the day. Mom made ham and we watched parts of a couple of laughable hockey games (i.e. Toronto in one and Vancouver in the other).
Lez smiles: Happy New Year to all. Hoping we will have all our wishes come true this year.
It was a quiet day working with our photos, and taking more. They sometimes need a touch up - I still have to clean those lenses to prevent the smudges and dust dots.
We had a nice evening with mom and bro. Mom and I passed on watching hockey. Lee and I came home with more leftovers. The fridge is amazingly able to hold all we put into it. Must be the master packing skills (certainly have had lots of practice these past few years).
