Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

It is not that Lee takes a great joy in trying to convince Lez to get up early, but the weather around here first thing in the morning can be spectacular. A few hours later, it turns cloudy and maybe even rainy.

Lez notes: The neighbours are all heading off to family Christmas gatherings. It is very quiet at Surfside at the moment. A sunny day drew us outside for a two-hour walk out to view on the shores of a VERY high tide in the Parksville Bay. There is no shore today. Some days you can walk far out on the bay flats. Today, waves crashing the logs and flotsom and jetsom that pile up. Lots of pictures of a high tide too.

We settled in for the evening with popcorn and a movie downstreamed from Youtube. A Christmas schmaltzy of course!
