Bro and Lee head for Comox.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
At the crack of dawn (rarely seen by Lez and I), Ralph and Lee headed for Comox so Ralph could deal with an appointment. Back home by just after lunch.
Too early for Lee. He took a nap in the middle of the afternoon.
Come evening, geez, we sure like having a working CD player. Grooving to the Who's Join Together for most of the evening.
Lez gets the cleaning bug: The RV is quiet today - Lee is out for the day. Well, I guess it's time to clean house. The little vacuum hasn't had a workout for awhile, the sun was shining, and although windy and cold outside I was able to get some fresh air into the Schooner without losing all the heat from the sun. Got one sewing project done, now tieing the loose ends on another before trimming and binding. The Christmas tree and lights quilt is still waiting for final touches. This is how a UFO - UnFinished Object starts.
I took advantage of the bright sun and high tides in the estuary for more photos. One will be a new greeting background on Facebook. Another will hopefully work into a three-some - the photos stitched together. Hobbes did go outside today but did the turnabout instantly with the cold wind. A quiet evening of CD's, poking on the internet and finishing a little wall-hanging. It's a grain elevator - LOL - if you know my little quilts you are not surprised. It was started in 2013 - which would also not surprise you. It should be a blog photo in a couple of days. WIth three days ahead of some pretty wet weather, our posts may be short and sweet. No excuse for not finishing the projects underway at the moment.
Stay warm, stay dry and stay home if you can!
