Lez hears a ploink on the floor.
Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)
We wake up to snow. Yes, snow. By end of day, it is mostly gone.
Lee is convinced that as one maintenance item is resolved, a new one pops up. Or ploinks up, in this case.
Actually, we should not be surprised. When we were buying an RV we heard horror stories about humidity issues in RVs when on the coast. Probably because of the electric fireplace, we haven't had much high humidity. So maybe we got a little complacent. Anyways, there is humidity dropping from the kitchen roof vent. The insulating square we have in there is a bit wet. As we pull it out, we see that the flimsy roof vent cover above is drip-full. Dry it up a bit and move on.
Lez hears the ploink too: Sigh - Lee just finished fixing our fireplace squeeking as the new fan we ordered arrived. So, out came the ladder and a wipe up of moisture in our ceiling fans cleared up and mitigated the issue. Thst was the excitement of our day. I don't consider doing laundry exciting.
