In the fall of 2020, Lee and Lez researched and found the location of the McLeod homestead, helped by a local man who grew up next to the McLeods. All that remained were some of the trees, but it was easy to imagine the farm yard based on old photographs.

The homestead address, using the traditional Dominion Land Survey, is the south east quarter of section four, range road eleven, township eleven, west of the third meridian. Written as SE-04-11-11-W3. It is located about four miles/six kilometers south of Pambrun, SK.

The historical documents found in the restored Pambrun train station indicate that Anne's father put one of his quarter sections of land in Anne's name.
