Life on the Balgonie farm (exact location has not yet been determined) was pretty simple. There are old photos of harvesting, haying and milking.

In those days, all you needed for an address was name, town and province. There are references to both Balgonie and McLean when it comes to the farm location. It appears that when mail was addressed to either location, it always got to them.
