A lack of supplies.

Lee notes that we must be getting close to election day. There is not much left of the poll worker supplies. Everyone out there has their stuff. Today, Lee dealt with those folks who were missing items in their kits, or were reading their checklists incorrectly, or cannot read, or are too lazy to look deep into their Transport Bags, or were actually missing something. Everyone went home happy.

Lez continues to wear many hats: LOL the Returning Office is one busy place! Today, voters are still calling in to vote before polling day and very disappointed or even angry that they were not aware of the Sept 14th deadline. So a smile in the voice and an attempt to gently put it to them, they are too late. Voting opportunity is now only this coming Monday - at their designated polling place.

More discussion about where that may be - which is easy enough to provide for them. It is more difficult to explain we are sorry they cannot make it to the poll, but there have been many opportunties made available to vote before the election day.

It's long days, and deep sleep nights! Tonight I must remember to turn on the alarm! A wee oops. We made it to work this morning on time, but had to do the drive-thru Egg McMuffin route!
