One last day at White Sands.

Lee thinks Lez has the right idea - let's stay one more day and wait until the campground clears out with all the long weekend campers. Sure enough, there they all go.

Lez actually just wanted to keep on sewing! This campsite and campground has got to be one of the most comfortable and overall peaceful places we have stayed. The campground is sold out for the long weekend, but you would never know it! The poplars are thick between sites, the RV's parking spots are all to one side of each site. The picnic table and firepit are all on the door/exit side of the RV - so there is no stepping out of your place and into the faces of your neighbours. A wider stand of poplar and low shrubbery are between the back ends of the rows of RV's. We never did go into the lake for a swim! BUT - we did get the bikes out for a wee tour of the campground.

I brought out the sewing machine and all accoutrements again and finished the cushion cover and the pillowcase style cover for a new backrest for Lee's bench seat at the kitchen table.

Oh. did I mention making popcorn on the outdoor stove element to munch on by the fire last night Tough life hey.
