Chuck gets a bath.
Valley Campground, Rosthern, SK (1 star)
We decided to stay another day so we could recharge, reset, revive and other re things.
Chuck got cleaned up both inside and out. Lee used the large truck car wash in Rosthern for Chuck's initial wash. Lee had never seen a car wash like that - one pay machine and eight wash wands. If the one you were holding was not close enough, grab the next one down the line and continue washing. Pretty neat. After that, an inside cleaning back at the campground.
At dinner time, a great video session with the kids in Edmonton. All is well.
Lez is going buggy-eyed editing photos.
Well I just HAD to take all those photos - I need reference to the area - and at the museums and interpretive centers over the past few days there was too much to absorb in that time frame, and so many samples of the items written about. Yes, more grain elevators, more beautiful Metis artwork, more 1800's clothing, tools, furnishings, photos and even an 1860-ish Raymond treadle sewing machine! (My first treadle purchase was a Raymond not much more than 40 years newer).
We are ready to move on - more new adventures, places to see, people to meet.
