Back in the field of dreams, yellow that is.
Port Ordze, Sherwood Park AB (2 stars)
We went for groceries first thing, getting loaded up for our trek across Alberta into Saskatchewan. We're not planning to leave for a few days yet (more maintenance items to deal with), but we want to be ready.
Hobbes is enjoying many hours outside here, he seems to remember the place very well.
Lez actually turns off the heat in the Schooner: Yup, the sun was out today, a high of 14, only bits of snow left in the shadows of the large evergreens around the outskirts of Port Ordze. The sun shone in cloudless skies after about 9 a.m. Yes, did not sleep til noon LOL. Out the door for "grocs" and looking for cording for The Man to repair the blinds that won't stay up - the cords have worn through. The unit is 10 years old. We enjoyed Friday wine in the sunshine with our hosts, and then spent the evening with a super salad and more wine and good old rock and roll on K97.
