Back to familiar territory.
Map - Glowing Embers to Port OrdzePort Ordze, Sherwood Park AB (2 stars)
Up bright and early (for us) to pack up and head out. First stop was to weigh Chuck and the Schooner to determine if we are still within code for the allowable weights. Then it was a quick stop for groceries and we headed over to where it all started last year: Port Ordze, the acreage of our friends the Zeisslers.
When they arrived home from work, we had a great time reminiscing around the firepit. It was so nice to see them again. After supper, we went for a walk along the ponds behind the acreage.
Lez says "deja vu all over again": We are now comfortably on familiar ground out at Port Ordze.
Hobbes is a little confused. He stood at the spot beside the storage container and stared out at the field, (where the RV was last year), and then back at the RV on the tarmac. You could almost see the gears turning in his head. Then he stood at the edge of the grass and looked towards what should be a view of the yard and house, and there is the RV! Poor guy, he almost shrugs his shoulders as he curls up in his basket. A familiar and comfy spot wherever we are. He is one awesome kitty.
