Biking the river valley.

Lee headed to West Edmonton and hooked up with Janice Fendall. They drove to the Valley Zoo parking lot and then went on a bike ride through the North Saskatchewan River valley. They covered 26.5 kilometers! Lee came home tired and had a snooze and then a shower. We decided to go out and pick up Thai food for supper but they are closed on Mondays. So, we went to Browns Social House instead and followed it up with Dairy Queen goodies on the patio.

Meanwhile, Hobbes and Lez enjoyed a quiet day keeping the RV relatively cool in the 31C heat. We use the "Fantastic Fans" - yes really called that - and adjusted window coverings as the sun moved around. The evening cooled off nicely - and for the first time we actually took the quilt off the bed to sleep!
