Up, up and oven away!
Port Ordze, Sherwood Park AB (2 stars)
The day started with a lazy breakfast followed by a bit of a shocker email. Lee had been in the Superstore on June 5 where an employee was found to have COVID19 after a presumptive test. Well, that led to a string of decisions on our part. We decided to delay our family dinner with the Zeisslers, not go to the bar with the Di Palmas and of course, get tested. That will take place on June 11. We're feeling fine. Today was also the first time we have used the oven. First, Lee made some banana muffins. Then, he made macaroni and bison casserole. It all worked out fine. I'm sure we'll be using that oven regularly. Finally, Lez pulled out her HQ Sixteen and started quilting on it for the first time in the Schooner.
Lez adds: It is a scary thing to think we might be impacted by C19. Quilting is my therapy and calming.
