The sun shines again, and skies are clear and blue end to end. The pasture is carpeted in yellow - spring marigolds (dandelions). So we decided it was time to let Hobbes go. He left the Schooner without a leash. As expected, he didn't wander away all that quickly. He snooped around and went down the driveway. Lee called for him and he came wandering back. What a boy! We love him! We spent some time using the chipper to break up branches in the pasture. All was going well until a large branch stalled the chipper and Lee discovered that some pieces of the chipper had wriggled free. We'll look for the missing parts in the morning.
