Lost in Comox.

Isn't the English language a strange choice for the world's language. Words are not explicit and have multiple meanings.
Take today's blog phrase, for example. We did not get lost in Comox. That's pretty difficult to do given the small size of the place. Instead, we lost the hockey game in Comox, with the Generals coming up short (another confusing English word) in a last minute charge (yet another). Our favourite player, Brady Van Herk, got both a goal and an assist in a 4-2 loss.
So, unlike a physical object which one can win, find or lose, we lost the hockey game - even though we never really had an actual hockey game to hold in our hands or put in a pocket. Another phrase could note we "put that game to rest" which also is weird - where did we put it, and after resting will it get going again
