The candle burned for a long time

We actually saw some sun today. It was the talk of the town.

Sunset produced an eerie blue filter over Parksville.

As supper was coming to an end, we watched the candle in our wine bottle desperately hold on. We thought it would have gone out many, many times but it held on for almost half an hour.

The sun really was the talk of the town! It's been quite a grey rainy sky for days. We are high and dry, so no water level issues at the RV site.

With busy schedules, Chris Longmore and I still had our weekly coffee clatch this morning. We will both be soon missing these coffee catch ups.

When we first settled in the RV, we brought along a long-standing wine bottle candle holder that has been gathering wax drips for longer than we can remember. It is carefully wrapped in a kitchen towel and gently set in the kitchen sink with a few other counter items every time we pack the RV for travel.
