So the weather network told us it was -9C in Parksville and -31C in Edmonton, DURING THE DAY. We certainly picked the right days to escape to Hawaii.
We drove to the north end of the island today and visited a farmer's market on a ranch and then the north coast to look for breeching whales. We saw just a few air blows but no bodies.
Touched base with the boys today and got an update regarding their weather, as we explained our blue skies beyond endless ocean. We are enjoying being in this warm climate and are reminded of that standard tool all Albertans have is patiently waiting for us - the snow shovel.
