Touring around Kona.

Well, Lee has never been to Hawaii so it has been a real eye opener. Karin and Marlin have a beautiful place with a view of the ocean in the distance and perpetual warm weather. And lots of birds.

We toured around Kona today and went for lunch in a place high enough to get a great view of the NW coast of the island of Hawaii.

We got a tour of some of the island, as Marlin drove us around. We got to see the pounding surf and a photogenic high spray. We had lunch out, toured a little more and settled into an evening at their home, still yakking up a storm.

Mother Nature offered us another surprise - a beautiful rainbow on the horizon, and then later, a cloudless sunset with the green flash as the sun set through the ocean horizon.
