Partying with the neighbours.

Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

We had a good time, maybe the last time, with neighbours in Surfside RV Park. The Christmas party was attended by about 90 people and we enjoyed a great Christmas meal.

And yes, Lez led the group in singing Happy Birthday. She and the party organizer sounded really good.

The back window is covered in rivulets of rain. It is a very wet day out there - and the ducks and geese are not complaining. They are scouring the edge of the estuary along the shore behind the Schooner. Must be some good eats! We will not be sitting outside today! It is 5C (41F for the old folks) which regardless of the number is COLD!

The Surfside Christmas party was tonight, at the main clubhouse. Buffet style meal, delicious - turkey and all the fixins. We visited with several of the other RV-ers, conversation never stopped.

We also had a little Karaoke session as I joined the singer with a special song LOL. We sang "Happy Birthday" to Lee. Others joined in and I got the "stink eye" from the Man, who quickly had a smile. Birthday celebrations are to be shared with friends.
