Humming the pita tune.

In to Nanaimo for some chores, but most importantly, to visit the Mediterranean store for those tasy pita chips and garlic hummus. Wow!

Got the storage device back from mom's place and did a full backup to it. Almost one quarter million files! It took almost five hours to copy all that, via a USB connection. Luckily we were busy with a cheese fondue.

Lez sighs: The grocery list made, and a list of places to hit once we get to Nanaimo. Shopping Day. Thanks to the Ladysmith Macarana girls, we too have latched on to a Middle Eastern market that makes the most dangerously delicious baked pita chips and garlic hummus. We loaded up with what we hope will get us to Edmonton.

The sun peeked out briefly this morning, but by the time we settled back at the Schooner, a light rain started, and any outdoor activity was dampened. We snuggled into the Schooner, and set up a cheese fondue. Now, catching up on photos and the blog. Rain, much needed, is predicted for the next week.
