Owls and eagles.

We sat out back on our picnic table this afternoon for quite a while just watching the birds in the estuary. Lez managed to get a couple of long shots of some owls chasing each other, while an eagle drifted high above us.

Lez types, Lee makes dinner: Lee is currently head chef - not bad considering he didn't start making meals until about five years ago! And he has no pre-conceived learnings from the Home-Ec teachers us girls learned from. He's busy making our pizza dinner tonight - breadmaker dough, and lots of cheese, spicy italian sausage, his own pizza sauce concoction accompanied by a 2018 Tinhorn Creek Cab Franc. A perfect candle-light dinner!
