A slide cover and the cover slides.

Lez sewed in a hunk of laundry line into the fabric we had bought earlier in order to build a cover for our kitchen slideout. It was windy as we negotiated the fabric into the sleeve that already existed above the slide. It worked just right and we were soon measuring up how far down the fabric needed to come on the front and side. More sewing for Lez.

Lez is pedal to the metal! Feels good to have the sewing machine underfoot. It took fair bit of "discussion" before we understood we say the same thing, just differently - and the slideout cover was taking shape. An otherwise quiet day. The late night evening walk included a "hello" with a deer wandering through the campground.
