Surfside RV Resort, Parksville BC (2 stars)

Lez went for coffee with the local QOV rep. She walked to the coffee shop which is just up the hill from the RV park. Then Lee ran a bunch errands, including Chuck's first oil change. Lee was all over downtown Parksville, which means two streets by three streets. Everything is so close. Later on, we had a nice cheese fondue dinner followed by a walk on the beach in the dark.

Lez laughs: Just up the hill - a hike up the hill! LOL - it was a refreshing walk, and certainly only 15 minutes to the coffee shop. Chris has given me the task of presenting two quilts of valour to recipients in Nanaimo while she has her knee surgery and recovery. We have certainly slowed down. In the afternoon I set up the mid-arm quilting machine so I can get into some serious quilt making now! After our evening walk, we came back and made our evening coffee and sat outside just watching the quiet estuary, the reflected moon on the water and the sound of a few geese as unknown somethings disturbed them.
