Birthday party.

Zwaal Family, Regina SK (2 stars)

It was a day of Regina memories for Lee today as we went to Bushwackers for supper. It is located in the old warehouse district of Regina to the north of the CPR rail yards. The restaurant is located in a restored warehouse where the upper floors are now residences. The restaurant also has old Regina photos on the walls. And the food was good too.

When we returned to Piet and Marg's house, she was surprised by a group of family and friends there to celebrate Marg's 70th birthday. We had a great evening with the crowd. Thanks to Sarah and Ashley for organizing the whole event.

As we drive around Regina, we find that not much has changed, except for some places where some of the outskirts are starting to have new development, a little further out from where we lived north of 9th Ave N.

We ended up enjoying more conversation and great food at Bushwakkers. Super menu, and a noisy crowd.

Meanwhile, Sarah and Ashley organized a very nice gathering for Marg's birthday with family and friends. We threatened to give her the bumps. Cooler heads prevailed.
