Those dogs on the beach.

Lee took Hobbes out before breakfast for a walk on the beach. There were already a number of dogs running free on the sand and a couple of them showed an interest in Hobbes. Hobbes is usually OK with dogs but not today. A couple of hisses and the dogs were gone.

Speaking of dogs, a man had his dog on his paddle board in the suft today. It all worked out fine but the dog did not look comfortable.

Lee has some chicken marinating in mediterranean spices all day long. More culinary adventures.

Hobbeservations: Mom's on a cleaning tear! I'm surprised she didn't vacuum me! She did, however, give me a peticure - I do NOT like to get my nails clipped.

Yes, with the pine needles and sandy soil, the carpets needed a good shake, and moving the carpets revealed more bits on the floor - so out came the vacuum. I'm shaking out the carpets and have determined the floor doesn't need a washing. An expected sunny day started out with intermittent sun aka peek a boo! I best not complain - rain tomorrow. But sunshine Thursday until Sunday. We will no doubt get some wandering in and adding more photos to share.
