Did someone say it was spring

I drove by Mimi and Alec's new house site. It is cold today and we have received a fresh load of spring snowfall. There is not activity today. It appears the bathroom shower stall has been dropped off; that needs to go in as construction proceeds because it is too large to fit through doors and stairwells.

Family memories today. First, we celebrated Kiki's 8th birthday with family, even though her actual day is April 27. We were at Mimi's sister's house for the dinner and goodies. A very nice time together.

It is times like these that I wish Lez would there for. She loved such family celebrations.

I was also reminded of another family memory (courtesy of Facebook). That's a photo of Hobbes taken five years ago today. He is sitting in a milk crate in our RV.
