The last evening of the number.
OK, really the last evening of my time in the apartment.
The phrase, last evening of the number, comes from a live album by the British group Caravan that Lez and I saw a couple of times. Pye Hastings, the guitarist and vocalist, meant to say Last number of the evening.
Everything is packed, I am ready to move into a temporary place with Mimi and Alec. They will be here, along with Aaron and Steph (and a big van) to haul everything out.
I went for one last walk through the forest this afternoon. It was warm, sunny and quiet. I just wish Lez could have been there with me.
